Norwegian pianist Oda Voltersvik (www.odavoltersvik.com) presents a tour in the Midwest called “Nordic Female Composers” as part of her artist residency for the Edvard Grieg Society of the Dakotas and more.
The program includes works by lesser-known and underrepresented female composers from Sweden and Norway, including Elfrida Andrée, Laura Netzel, Agathe Backer Grøndahl, Inger Bang Lund and Pauline Hall.
